Momma always said, ‘Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get.’

This is made obvious to me whenever the topic of the Affordable Care Act is brought up. Thank you Forrest!

Although there is not a whole lot ‘Affordable’ about today’s healthcare landscape, we are at least beginning to see increased transparency and access to provider data on the quality and cost of medical services being provided and received in the United States.

I wanted to share some resources that you can use to research some common medical procedures and corresponding information on the quality and cost of care, patient experiences and outcomes, and other data that will help you choose where to receive the care you need.
